Hello everyone!

My name is Kiyre. I am from Anchorage, Alaska, which is a pretty small town, but I am currently living on campus at Oregon State University. I am working towards my bachelors degree currently. I am just starting out, so I am a freshman, and I am majoring in animal science. I chose that animal science because I hope to work as a veterinarian someday. I love all animals so much, like my dog for example. The picture I have there is my dog. His name is Yasha and he is 8 months old, and my favorite thing in the world. He is back home in Alaska while I am here in Oregon, and I miss him so much already. But I am very excited to one day be able to take care of pets like him. But for just this term I am hoping to learn new and cool things, while also maintaining good grades, so I can one day get into vet school. Some random facts about me is that I love One Direction, and Louis is my favorite, I was a gymnast for several years, and I love going to concerts.

All social media platforms exposes people to many different things. It exposes people to good content, to making new friends, and learning new things, about life and the people important to you. But sometimes it can impact people negatively being exposed to slander, cyber bullying, and violent or hateful content. Seeing and experiencing all that can really effect someone’s mental health.
